Not sure if I've ever shared this recording before, at least not in it's entirety. A snippet was used when I made the slideshow for his memorial service. This is something he recorded on his own, back in 2007. It's a cover of James Blunt's popular song.
For those of you who don't know, Rayson played guitar. I believe he initially picked up interest while at church youth group, and took private instructional lessons and did a bunch of self-help studies too. There would be times late at night where he would play (and sing) for hours in his room.
When the brain cancer hit, one of the abilities he lost was physical touch, dulling the entire left side of his body. He would describe it as numb. And as a result, he wasn't able to do many things he used to do, such as play guitar.
